Introduction

Like many people, I grew up watching Gerald Sinstadt's Road To Wembley feature on Football Focus. This involved picking a game from the very beginning round of the FA Cup and to follow the winner of the tie, and subsequent rounds all the way to the cup final. This season, I have finally decided to take the plunge and attend a game for every round of the cup. I have decided to break from the BBC's old format and pick and choose my game for each round, rather than just stick with the winners of each tie. There is no hard and fast formula, but I will be trying to visit as many grounds I have not visited as possible and simply go for games that appeal to me.
